생태학적 관점의 유기적 공간디자인에 관한 연구

Abstract

Turning to 20th century, the mechanism based on Newton's physics, Descartes philosophy, and scientific methodology has bee gradually shaken by modern ideas like Einsteins' theory of relativi Bohr's quantum dynamics, and Heisenberg's the uncertainty principle. These modern physics play a role of a paradigm defining this modern age. At the same time, modern sciences have gradually changed the vision of the universe and a world, which in turn influence th people's way of thinking. Ecology is derived from the systemic ideas based on the modem physics. Ecology is the science which study the relation between th organism and the environment. The factors like living things or lifeli things could be explained under the name of the ecology. Besides, other various areas like arts, sciences sociology economics, and poli have currently adopted the theory of ecology to solve their ow problems. Environmental design in other words modern architecture have caused lots of problems such as exhaustion of natural resources and environmental pollution. Additionally, environment couldn't conso people's feeling of alienation coming from failure of control environment. Under these circumstances, I will approach environmental design be using ecological theory. Furthermore, I will study the relations between organism and environment in other words proven theory of ecology. Also by taking the possibilities of ecological design, I consider the environmental design as a whole. 1. I examined the organic view of nature, concept, structure function, development and evolution of ecology which raise head active1 by the change of paradigm. 2. I examined through the pattern study of a design principle tha interests in an organic body and environment had developed and proceeded from the organic concept, but the concept was rerecognized in the modern aspect. 3. Taking adaptability examined in the process of the development and evolution of a mode of life for the major concept of a environmental design, I could design a space by shaping regional climat and introducing natural elements, and suggested a solution fo human-environmental problems through the harmony, dynamic balance and complementality between human beings and a space as the conceptual element of an environment friendly design. 4. I selected subjects through an ecological analysis, and sugges a concrete model through the conceptual element examined in a design method and the plane extracted in the evolutional process. 5. I made a conclusion by generalizing, inspecting all the proce and suggesting the limits of the study and future developin possibilities. In the result of this study, I laid an importance on the fact that could prove that human-environmental relationship could provide proper environment for human beings with the general, organic solution of an interior environmental design.;뉴우튼의 물리학, 데카르트의 철학, 베이컨의 과학적 방법론을 기초로한 기계주의적 세계관은 20세기에 들어와 아인쉬타인의 상대성이론, 닐스보어의 양자역학, 하이젠베르그의 불확정성의 원리 등의 현대물리학에 의해 점차 흔들리게 되었다. 이러한 현대 물리학은 한 시대를 규정짓는 패러다임으로 작용함으로써 보편적으로 인간 사고의 기저를 형성하는 사상적 배경이 되는 세계와 우주를 보는 틀을 변화시킨다. 현대물리학의 사상적 배경으로 형성된 시스템적 세계관은 같은 맥락을 가지고 있는 생태학을 대두시켰다. 생태학은 유기체와 환경의 관계를 연구하는 학문이다. 생태계라는 개념을 중심으로 생물적이고 무생물적인 구성성분들은 전체로서의 의미를 지니게 된다. 또한 다양한 분야, 즉 예슬, 과학, 사회학, 경제, 정치 등에서 이러한 생태학의 개념을 문제해결의 접근방법으로 도입하고 있는 것이 최근의 추세이다. 본 연구자의 관심분야인 환경디자인분야의 문제, 즉 근대건축에서 추구되어온 기계적이고 합리적인 이념들이 환경오염과 자원고갈이라는 현시대의 문제를 야기하고 환경이 인간에게 생소하고 조절하기 어려우며 진지하게 인식하기 어려울 때 느낄 수 있는 소외감을 해결 해 줄 수 없었기에 생태학을 환경디자인의 접근방법으로 삼고자 하였다. 따라서 이 논문은 시대적 타당성을 가지고 있는 생태학, 즉 유기체와 환경의 관계에 대해 고찰하고, 환경디자인에 대한 생태학적 관점에서의 디자인의 가능성을 살펴봄으로써 총체적인 환경디자인의 접근방법을 연구하는 과정으로 진행된다. 그 과정을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 패러다임의 변화에 의해 적극적으로 대두되고 있는 유기체론적 자연관과 생태학의 개념, 구성과 기능, 발전과 진화에 대해 고찰해 보았다. 2. 근대건축에 있어 유기체와 환경에 대한 관심이 '유기적' 개념에서부터 발전, 전개 되었으나 현대적 양상에서 유기적 개념이 재인식되고 있음을 유기적 디자인원리의 유형고찰을 통해 살펴보았다. 3. 생태계의 발전과 진화과정에서 살펴볼 수 있었던 '적합성'을 환경디자인의 중심개념으로 삼아 지역적 기후의 형성과 자연적 요소의 도입으로 공간구성을 할 수 있고 환경친화적 디자인의 개념적 요소로서 인간과 장소와의 조화, 역동적 균형, 상보성을 통해 인간-환경문제에 대한 해결의 방법으로 제시하였다. 4. 생태학적 분석을 통하여 대상지를 선정하였으며 진화과정에 따른 평면도출과 디자인전개방법에서 살펴보았던 개념적 요소를 통해 구체적인 모형 사례를 제시하였다. 5. 모든 과정을 종합, 정리, 검토하여 연구의 한계와 앞으로의 구체적 발전 가능성을 제시하는 것으로 결론을 맺는다. 이와같은 연구결과 실내환경 디자인에 있어서의 총체적, 유기체적, 문제 해결 방법으로서 인간-환경 관계에서 인간에게 적합한 환경을 지원할 수 있는 방법임을 입증할 수 있었다는 점에 그 의의를 둔다.
