넥타이 디자인 표현 연구

Abstract

근래 들어 소비자의 상품선택은 이성보다 감성 우선으로, 의외성 또는 창의적 요소를 지닌 '감성적 디자인'을 요구하는 방향으로 변화하고 있다. 17세기 중엽 프랑스에서 출현한 크라바트(Cravate)로부터 유래한 넥타이는 오늘날 남성 정장의 기본 구성품이면서 동시에 정장의 거의 유일한 포인트가 되고 있다. 본 연구는 넥타이의 기원과 발달과정을 간략하게 살펴보면서 남성 복식에서 넥타이가 가지는 의미 내지 위치의 변화를 읽어보려 하며 이를 통해서 핸드-드로잉 넥타이의 가능성을 발견하고자 한다. 일반적으로 넥타이는 실루엣의 변화는 거의 없기 때문에 대부분 소재 활용 및 패턴 개발이 중요한 부분으로 인식되고 있다. 이에 넥타이의 다양한 문양을 수집하여 분석함으로써 그 경향을 알아보고, 연구자의 나름대로 창조적인 문양을 제시해 보고자 한다. 이러한 이론적 고찰에 기초해 몇 가지 기법을 응용하여 작품을 제작하고, 아울러 제품성 측면에서 평가함으로써 앞으로 나가야 할 방향을 모색해 보고자 한다. 그리고 설문조사를 통해 소비자의 선호도를 알아보고, 또 한편으로 착장자의 문양 및 색상의 선호도를 조사하여, 두 결과를 비교분석함으로써 넥타이 디자인의 향후 개발 가능성에 대해 고찰하고자 한다. 제품을 기획함에 있어서는 생활기능을 마다한 감상용이거나 장식용 오브제(object)가 아니라 일상생활에 기여하는 철저한 실용목적의 대상으로 넥타이를 제작하고자 한다. 즉, 전시가치(valueinexibition) 보다는 사용가치(valueinuse)에 중점을 두고 심리적 만족감(미적 쾌감 및 실용의 쾌감)을 동시에 수반하길 바라는 마음에서 작업에 임하였다. 오늘날 소비자의 욕구는 다양해지고 깊어지고 있다. 이와 함께 소비자의 행동을 예측하기란 점점 더 어려워지고 있다. 예술과 실용의 연결을 시도한 이 핸드-드로잉 넥타이가 다양해지고 급변해 가는 소비패턴에 대응하기 위한 새로운 조형추구의 한 방법으로 연구되길 바란다.;Recently choice of the consumers' goods is changing emotion into ration, and tends to need "emotional design having the expected or the original. Necktie, come from cravats appeared in fiance in the middle of 17 century have been the only point of formal suits as well as base of them. This report gives you many things about tie ; its origin and the process of developments and its meaning or role in men's clothing, which helps us find the possibility of hand-drawing necktie. Throughout the questionnaire I looked into the consumers' preference and then researched the preference of pattern and color by the way of rundom sample test. In comparison with these two results I intended to investigate about the possibility of development of the necktie design in the future. Generally use of most of material and development of pattern were recognized as the important part since it was almost nothing about change of silhouette of necktie. So I examined its tendency using the method that I collected and analyzed various patterns of necktie and then, was to present the original patterns in my own. With producing the goods of several technique, and evaluating them in the aspect of qualities, I suggested the way we should be proceed. When I designed the products, a point of my job was not object for appreciation and decoration excluding life functions but necktie for the complete practical prepose in our life. On working this project I put emphasis on valueeinuse rather than valueinexbition and emphasis on the mental satisfaction at same time. Considering that practicability and industrialization were applied to applied, in the process of creating image, I intended to produce to new versional effect by computer graphics. Today the consumers' desires are varying and deepening. Therefore it is more and more difficult to predict the consumers' conducts. It is desirous that hand-drawing necktie should study by one way of new mould pursuit for corresponding with a rapid change of consumption pattern.
