도제 인테리어 소품 디자인 개발에 관한 연구

Abstract

현대사회가 발달하면서 생활수준이 향상되고, 주거 생활환경에 대한 의식이 변함에 따라 주택에 있어서도 외부 뿐 아니라 실내의 장식에도 관심을 갖게 되었다. 이러한 실내 장식에 대한 관심은 다양한 인테리어 소품의 디자인개발을 필요로 하게 되었다. 이러한 흐름은 주택의 중심 공간인「거실」에서 사용되는 인테리어 소품의 중요성을 인식하게 하고 이에 따라 다양한 디자인 개발이 요구되고 있다. 이에 부응하여 인테리어 소품 중 테이블, 스텐드, 시계, 화병, 도벽에 초현실적인의 화가인 Joan Miro′ 회화의 특성을 적용함으로서 실용적 기능을 갖추면서 동시에 미적 욕구를 충족시켜 줄 수 있는 인테리어 소품의 디자인을 개발하고자 하였다. 연구 내용으로는 이론적 배경으로 관계문헌과 화집, Catalogue 등을 통하여 Joan Miro′회화의 특징적 요소인 Automatism(자동기술법), Informel(비정형), Calligraphic(서예적인 선묘), 상징 기호 등을 중심으로 살펴 보았고, 또한 인테리어 소품중 테이블, 스텐드, 시계, 화병, 도벽 등의 구조적 측면과 특성들을 살펴 보았다. 자유로우면서도 간결한 Automatism(자동기술법)에 의한 Calligraphic(서예적인 선묘)요소와 Dream Painting의 요소, 편안함과 순수함으로 자연을 표현한 Informel(비정형) 요소, 상징적이면서 압축된 표현을 담고 있는 상징기호 등은 재미있는 디자인적 요소를 담고 있다. 이러한 회화를 소재로 한 인테리어 소품을 제작함으로써 Miro′ 회화의 이미지를 새로이 창출해 보고자 하였다. 디자인과정은 Miro′회화의 특성인 Informel(비정형) 요소, Calligraphic(서예적인 선묘) 요소, 상징기호, Dream Painting 등이 인테리어 소품으로 어떻게 조형화되 있는지 서술하였다. 작품 제작 방법은 작품의 특성에 따라 석고틀을 이용한 이장 주입성형과 물레성형을 사용하였고, 태토는 슈퍼화이트 슬립(고려도토), 자기토 슬립(요업개발), 조합토(한미요업) 등을 사용하였다. 유약은 <작품 1, 4, 9>는 백색무광택유를, <작품 2>는 갈색유를 <작품 3, 5, 7>은 투명유를 각각 분무법으로 시유하였고, <작품 6>은 반광택 Frit유를 Green 안료를 혼합하여 분무법으로 시유하였고, <작품 8>은 반광택 Frit유를 분무법으로 시유하였고 <작품 10>은 Red, Yellow, Deep, Yellow, Blue 안료를 백색무광택유에 혼합하여 분무시유하였다. 1차 소성은 0.3m^(3) 가스가마에서 850℃를 마침온도로 7시간 동안 하였고, 2차 소성은 <작품 1,2,4,9,10>은 0.3㎥ 가마에서 1,250℃를 마침온도로 10시간동안 산화소성하였고, <작품 3,5,7>은 0.3㎥ 가마에서 1,250℃를 마침온도로 11시간 동안 환원소성 하였다. <작품 6, 8>은 0.3㎥ 에서 가스가마에서 1150℃를 마침온도로 10시간 동안 산화소성하였다. 3차소성은 <작품 3, 5>의 경우 Black안료와 Blue전사지를 상회하여 0.3m^(3) 가스가마에서 820℃를 마침온도로 7시간 동안 소성하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 Miro′회화에 나타난 Informel적요소, 상징기호, Calligraphic적 요소, Dream Painting 요소 등이 인테리어 소품의 디자인적 요소로서 다양한 종류의 소품으로 이미지가 표현될 수 있었다. 즉 Informel적 요소는 동화적이며 자유로운 형태로 표현되었으며 상징기호는 추상적이면서 기하적인 형태로 간결하게 표현되었다. 또 Dream Painting요소와 Calligraphic 요소는 형태의 흐름을 통한 시각적인 율동감을 표현할 수 있었고 전체 형태에서 오는 대비효과도 볼 수 있었다. 이렇게 Miro′회화의 특성을 테이블, 스텐드, 시계, 화병, 도벽에 적용해 봄으로서 실용적 기능을 갖추면서 장식효과를 줄 수 있는 창의적인 디자인을 개발할 수 있었다.;As todays society developed and our living standard increased, we have become more aware about our environment, an interior of a house for example. And the such awareness led me to develope designs for the interior items and recognize the needs for them. The such flow of movement made me to recognize the importance of items in 「Living room」 and different designs to accommodate the such importance. And to follow the movement with functional skills and artful desires. I tried to develope the interior items which include a surrealistic artist Joan Miro´ view point. In this research. I tried tod examine the Joan Miro's Automatism, Informel, Calligraphics and Symbolic signs through related articles, illustrated books, and catalogues. I also have studied structures and charactoristics of interior items like Tables, Lamp stands, Clocks, Vases and Wall decoration. With this research. I also tried to show new Miro's Painting image through simple Calligraphic factors and Dream Painting factors with Automatism, Informel factors which describe nature environment with comfort and purity, Symbolic signs which represent repressed meanings and other interesting design factors. During the design process, I explaned how Miro's Informal factors, Calligraphic factors, Symbolic signs, Dream Painting and other factor are molded together. In the manufacturing process I used slip casting with gypsum molds both injection and compression molding methods and Potter's Wheel, super white clay, Koryodoto, mulite clay for the basic material. For glasze I sprayed <WORK 1, 4, 9> with wh matte glaze, <WORK 2> with brown glaze, <WORK 3, 5, 7> with cle white glaze, <WORK 6> with half clear frit glaze and green glaze mixed <WORK 8> with half clear frit glaze, <WORK 10> with 3% of Pink, 3% of blue, 10% of yellow, 10% of deep yellow and matte glaze mixed. The first baking was oxidized in a 0.3m^(3) gas furnace up to 850℃ as final temperature for 7 hours. The second baking was oxidized in 0.3m^(3) gas furnace up to 1250℃ as final temperature for 10 hours for <WORK 1, 2, 4, 9, l0>, and deoxidized in 0.3m^(3) gas furnace up to 1250℃ as find temperatue for 11 hours for <WORK 3, 5, 7> and oxidized in 0.3m^(3) gas furnace up to 1150℃ as final temperature for 10 hours for <WORK 6, 8>. The third baking <WORK 3, 5> with black, blue powder glaze and these were oxidized in 0.3m^(3) gas furnace up to 820℃ as final temperature for 7 hours. In conclusion this research, Miro's Informel factors, Symbolic signs, Calligraphic factors, Dream Painting factors which one can see in his paintings can be represented with making different kinds of items. In other words the Informel factors can be represented by animated free style, the Symbolic signs and Calligraphic factors are by flow of forms, visual mouments and comparison of the works. As you can see the characteristics of Miro's painting in the Table, Stand Lamp, Clock, Vase and Wall decoration it is possibly to creatively design practically useful and decorative items.
