Web 2.0 RSS를 기반으로 한 WBI 교육정보시스템 설계 및 구현

Abstract

As the information-oriented society has come, our society needs the change of contents and methods in education. Open education, self-centered education, web-based education, constructive education, and multimedia education is widely used with this educational change. Also, the 7th curriculum shows the change of paradigm in the field of education which starts from instruction-centered education to learning-centered education. WBI, which means Wed based Instruction became popular as it is based on the information-communication infra and the change of education paradigm. WBI allows learners to search and construct information by themselves which finally supports constructive education. Also, learners can find out contents as they wish. Furthermore, they can create new kinds of knowledge and share them with other students. To apply these concepts effectively, we need to suggest many kinds of information and the way of learning using education- information system to learners. Also, we have to look for the ways to collect and distribute these concepts as well. In this thesis, I’d like to embody RSS system and education- information system based on Web 2.0. When information and ways of learning are suggested to various groups of learners, they can search information with this RSS Reader. In other words, When RSS channels are registered, learners can trace contents easily with their computers. With these reasons, learners can expand their educational interests and improve instruction-learning effectiveness. Moreover, they can make use of it to widen their communication field.;정보화 사회의 도래는 교육의 내용과 방법의 변화를 필연적으로 요구한다. 이러한 변화에 부응할 수 있는 방법으로 열린 교육, 자기 주도적 학습, 웹 기반 학습, 구성주의 교육, 멀티미디어 교육 등이 활용되고 있으며, 제7차 교육과정에서는 ‘교수(instruction)’ 중심의 교육에서 ‘학습(learning)’ 중심의 교육으로 패러다임의 전환을 이루고 있다. 특히, 탄탄한 정보통신 인프라와 교육 패러다임의 전환을 기반으로 한 웹 기반 학습(WBI : Web Based Instruction)은 그 교육적 활용 가치를 더 높이 평가받고 있다. 웹 기반 학습은 학습자가 스스로 정보를 찾아서 의미를 구성하는 것을 허용함으로써 기본적으로 구성주의 교육 방식을 지원한다. 또한 스스로 원하는 정보를 찾아낼 수 있으며, 나아가 찾아낸 정보를 재구성하여 새로운 지식을 창출해내고 공유할 수 있게 된다. 이와 같이 WBI를 학교 현장에 맞게 적용하여 정보의 공유 및 학습효과를 극대화하기 위해서 이를 수집․배급하는 역할을 해낼 수 있는 시스템이 절실히 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 교육 현장에서 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 Web 2.0 기반의 RSS 시스템 및 교육정보시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 교육정보시스템에서 다양한 그룹의 사용자들에게 각종 정보와 학습의 방향을 제시하면 사용자들은 RSS Reader를 이용하여 정보를 쉽게 열람할 수 있다. 즉, RSS Reader에 해당 RSS 채널을 등록만 하면 학습자들의 컴퓨터에 쉽고 빠르게 원하는 컨텐츠가 배달된다. 그러므로 교육 현장에서 이와 같은 시스템은 개인별 관심 분야의 확대, 교수-학습의 효율성 증진, 의사소통의 장 확대 등의 다양한 장점을 가지고 효과적으로 활용할 수 있게 될 것이다.
