중학교 음악 수업시 시청각 매체의 적용에 관한 연구

Abstract

현대 사회에서 음악 교육은 인간의 '미적 감수성'을 최대한 경험하게 하여 질 높은 삶을 누릴 수 있게 하는 실로 그 사명이 막중한 교과이다. 그러나 과학 문명이 그 진보의 속도를 추측할 수 없을 만큼 급속히 발전해 가면서 음악을 비롯한 예술 교과는 그 영역이 나날이 경시되어 가고 있을 뿐 아니라 대중 매체에서 파생된 문화의 힘에 밀려 학생들에게 소외 당하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 그렇다면 어떤 방법으로 수업을 하여야 학생들에게 음악이 흥미있는 과목, 중요한 과목으로 인식될 수 있을 것인가? 본 연구는 위의 문제 제기로 부터 시작하여 학생들에게 음악에 대한 흥미를 진작시키고, 수업에 적극적으로 태도를 가져올 수 있는 수업 자료 개발에 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이 목적의 실행을 위해 학생들의 음악에 대한 선행 경험과 관심 정도- 특히 학교 음악과 대중 음악을 비교하여- 를 설문지를 통하여 알아 보았다. 이 결과, 조사 대상 학생들은 대다수가 음악에 대한 선행 경험에 적고 가정에서도 음악적인 이해가 부족한 환경에 있음을, 그리고 이들이 가지고 있는 음악적 관심은 학교에서 배우는 음악이 아닌 대중 음악에 치우쳐 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구자는 이들에게 학교 음악의 가치를 인식 시키는 방법의 하나로 그들이 좋아하는 대중 매체인 T.V.와 Radio의 효과를 가지고 있는 슬라이드와 녹음기를 활용한 수업 자료를 개발 하였다. (1) 우리나라의민요, (2) 단소의 운지법, (3) 장구와 장단 등의 국악 부분과 (4) 바른 가창법, (5) 부분적인 빠르기 말, (6) 관현악에 쓰이는 악기 등의 서양 음악 부분의 내용으로 구성된 이 자료는 특히 학생들의 흥미 <이후원문누락>;In modern society, Music education, which makes possible to enjoy life in high quality through the experiencing an aesthetic sensibility of the human beings, is very important in school curriculum. With the unexpected and rapid progress of scientific civilization, however the art curriculum including music, which are overwhelmed by the culture power derived from mass media, are not only degraded but also differentiated by students. How can be recognized that music is interesting and important subject to the students ? As the solution, this study is implemented to develop the teaching material so as to get a positive attitude to the students. In order to achieve the objective, the questionnaire is applied to investigate the preceding experience in music and the interesting on the school music and popular music. The results of this questionnaire are as follows. 1) Most students are lacking in the preceding experience in music and have no understanding of music at home. 2) They show the interest in popular music more than school music. Therefore the researcher develops the teaching material with the Slide and Tape recorder having the same effect T.V. and Radio in order to emphasize the school music. The teaching Material is divided into two sections: Korean music and Western Music. Each section consists of three parts: Korean Music: 1) Korean folk song, 2) Fingering of Dan-so, 3) Changu and Changdan. Western Music; 4) Singing method, 5) Tempo Marking, 6) Instrumentatism. This material is made by teacher and student to stimulate the students curiousity. To test the efficiency of the materials, I selected each of three classes as the experimental and comparative among the classes similar to the mean score of the placementment test. And analyzed the progression of each group. As a result, I reached an important conclusion that students of the experimental groups were improved higher than those of the comparative groups in the mean score. In addition, I found the facts that the number of the low-score students was decreased. Students of the experimental groups changed their learning attitude into participation in the class positively with a great curiosity and interest. It means that the teaching-learning methods in music class by the slide and tape recorder were more efficient. So far, we have no sufficent materials able to make use of diversely. However music teachers and researchers should develop continuously and spread extensively the teaching-learning materials in the music education so as to improve the degree of learning achievement. Finally, I expect, becides the result of this study, there will be developed many instructional materials utilized the various media suitable for each school.
