Review of Internet Survey Method and bias reduction Using Propensity Score Adjustment

Abstract

인터넷 조사를 통해 수집된 자료는 일반적으로 전통적인 확률기반 표본 설계를 채택하지 않는다. 따라서 수정 없이는 확률 기반을 위한 추론 기법이 웹 조사에서도 맞는다는 것을 보장할 수 없으며 이러한 조사를 통해 획득된 추정값에는 편향이 있을 가능성이 높다. 성향 점수 조정 (PSA, Propensity Score Adjustment) 는 근본적인 문제, 즉 인터넷 조사에서 비임의화 표본 선택으로 인한 편의를 제거하는 하나의 통계적 방법으로 제시되었다. 제안된 방법은 인터넷 조사에서 나오는 추정 값의 선택편향 및 포함 편향을 축소시키는데 잠재력이 있다. 본 연구는 인터넷 조사의 성질에 따른 분류와 그에 따라 나타날 수 있는 오류들을 분석하고, 그에 대한 통계적 추정 방법에 대한 문헌 연구이다.;In general, data collected through Internet Surveys do not adopt traditional, probability-based sample design. Therefore, without adjustments, it is not possible to guarantee that inference techniques for probability-based samples can be correctly applied for Internet Surveys, and estimates obtained from such surveys may have biases. Propensity Score Adjustment has been proposed as a statistical method for removing bias arising from a fundamental problem of Internet Survey, which is non-randomized sampling. The proposed method has potential for reducing selection and coverage bias of estimates obtained through Internet Surveys. This study examines various categories of Internet Surveys according to respective characteristics and analyzes resulting errors. This study conducts a literature review of statistical estimation method for such surveys.
