사진에 있어서 pop-photo에 관한 연구

Abstract

Pop art is the trend which made what are extermely ordinary into image which get stuck into unconsciouness into omage from the idea, 'making the popular subject into art'. Thaen, this was the 'new discovery' about a kind of object. I know am loading the modern time and who have taken p hot0 on modern time felt that it is necessary to try to connect the concept of this pop art with the subject that the photo is taken mutually. Thus, by projecting my image to the land scape in which the extermely popular object which can be seen in the pop art work is being laid, this researcher made th e feeling into image. Thus, in this study, this researcher grasped the basic concept and unfolding situation of pop art classifying into England and America and studied about the important object in the ex pression of pop art. The artists; and photo artists of pop art who were of help to this study are Tom Wosseiman who raised the landscape to be the section of life artistically and William Eggleston who spoke the method to see the indifferent place to be thought to be citizen-like for color photo. Then, this researcher combined my work analysis with the study of these. The landscape photoes which are surroundin my bathroom and kitchen are not simple record or reproduction. As they are the goods which were habituated and people have touched in the mass productive consumption society, this researcher completed the work with the concept of pop photo to try to find another discovered issues by making the human disinterest about these subjects into image.;pop art는 '대중적인 대상의 예술화'라는 이념에서 무의식에 박혀 있는 지극히 평범한 것들을 이미지화 했던 사조로 이것은 일종의 오브제에 대한 '새로운 발견'이었다. 현대를 살고 있으며 현대를 대상으로 사진찍던 본인은 이런 pop art의 개념과 사진찍는 대상을 서로 연결시켜 볼 필요가 있음을 느꼈다. 따라서 pop art작품에서 볼 수 있는 지극히 대중적인 오브제가 놓여진 풍경에 본인의 심상을 투영시켜 그 느낌을 영상화 했다. 본 논문에서는 pop art의 기본개념과 그 전개상황을 영국과 미국으로 나누어 파악해 보고 pop art 표현에 있어 중요한 오브제에 대하여 고찰하였다. 이 연구에 도움이 된 pop art작가와 사진가는 삶의 단면이 되는 풍경을 예술적으로 고양시킨 Tom Wesselman과 함께 시민적이라고 생각되는 무관심 했던 곳의 보는 방법을 컬러사진으로 대변한 William Eggleston으로, 이들의 연구와 함께 본인의 작품분석도 겸하였다. 본인의 욕실과 주방을 둘러싼 풍경사진은 단순한 기록이나 재현은 아니다. 대량생산적인 소비 사회에서 너무나 습관화 되어 접해온 물건이기에 이런 대상들에 대한 인간의 무관심을 영상화하여 또 다른 '발견된 물체'를 찾고자 하는 pop photo의 개념으로 작업을 하였다.
