가전제품의 재활용과 효율적 폐기를 위한 디자인 접근방법에 관한연구

Abstract

산업화로 가속화된 우리 경제의 성장은 막대한 에너지와 소비제품으로 넘쳐흐르는 새로운 시대를 만들어 내었다, 이에 산업화는 구조의 변혁과 함께 새로운 생활 양식을 우리에게 가져다 주었으며, 대량생산, 대량소비라는 급격한 수요, 공급의 변혁과 동시에 여러가지 폐기물의 대량배출이라는 부작용을 만들어 내었다. 대량배출 폐기물들 중에 폐가전제품의 심각성은 매우 크다. 폐가전제품은 전국적으로 년간 약 15만톤이 발생하고 있으며, 수거되어 재활용되는 폐가전제품은 수거량의 약 50%정도를 점하고 있는것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 시대 상황하에 폐가전제품의 량은 점차 증가 추세에 있으며, 처리방법이나 매립에 따르는 여러가지 문제점을 내포하고 있다. 특히 폐냉장고는 환경오염 뿐만 아니라 자원절약 측면에서 폐기과정을 고려 한 해체의 문제가 심각히 제고되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 우리나라의 폐가전제품의 년간 발생량과 재활용방안, 처리실태 내용을 토대로 냉장고의 효율적인 회수방법과 폐기처리시 해체가 용이한 구조로 개선하는 방향을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구의 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 환경의 양측을 이루는 인간과 환경에 대한 개념과 심각한 환경 문제로 대두되고 있는 폐기물의 유형, 처리 및 재활용 방안을 정부와 기업, 소비자들 측면에서 서술하였다. 둘째, 폐냉장고의 사회적 심각성을 인식하기 위해 가전제품의 수요에 따른 폐기발생량, 회수구조 가전제품의 폐기처리 방법 및 공정을 살펴보았다. 세째, 냉장고의 일반적인 유형과 구조를 살펴보고 냉장고를 구정하고 있는 재료를 조사하였다. 넷째, 냉장고의 소비자 수요와 폐기량 추이를 알아보고 현재 폐냉장고가 회수 폐기 처분되는 과정과 회수된 폐냉장고의 재활용 현황을 분석하였다. 다섯째, 결론으로 앞에서 조사한 내용을 토대로 재활용과 효율적 폐기를 위한 디자인 방향을 회수, 운반, 폐기시 분해와 처리를 용이한 구조로 개선하면서 종합적으로 환경오염을 줄이는 방안을 제시하였다.;The rapid development of our economy, a critical part of our modernization process, has resulted in a new era full of voluminous energy and materials, This phenomenon, coupled with a change in industrial structure, has to a new mode of lifestyle for all of us. Simultaneous with sudden, this rapid change has also yielded in massive discharge of waste. Among the massive discharge of waste, the problem of used and discarded electronic home appliances have amounted to 150,000tons nationwide and recycling of such discarded appliances have reached 50% of the recovered appliances. As the volume of discarded electronic home appliances increases as our society grows, numerous problems associated with disposal and reclamation have surfaced. In particular, discarded refrigerators poses not only environmental problems, but also poses problems associated with disassembly of refrigerators following their disposal. Therefore, based on the annual volume as well as recycling methods and disposal methods of discarded refrigerators in our nation, this experiment seeks to suggest improved and more effective recovery methods and structure of refrigerators sifted for easier disassembly upon disposal. The content of the experiment is as follows : 1. We have described the concept of environment in relation to mankind and the type, disposal method and recycling method of discarded wastes which pose serious environmental problems from the perspective of the government, businesses and consumers. 2. In order to help better understand the seriousness of problems posed to our society by discarded refrigerators, we have studied the amount of disposed waste, recovery structure and disposal methods of electronics home appliances. 3. We have described the general type and structure of refrigerators and the materials composing refrigerators. 4. We have studied the consumers demand for refrigerators and the trend fir disposal of refrigerators and have analyzed and described the process involved in recovery and disposal as well as recycling of discarded refrigerators. 5. In conclusion based on the researched contents as set forth above, we will suggest ways to comprehensively reduce environmental pollution by improving, the designing toward effective recycling and disposal through the means of better structure of recovery, transportation, disassembly and disposal of such waste materials.
