문화공간의 이해와 디자인 사례연구

Abstract

과학기술의 발전과 함께 사회가 산업화, 정보화됨에 따라 미래사회에 대한 새로운 기대가 있는 반면에 생활양식의 기계화에 대한 우려도 점차 커지므로, 생활공간으로서의 물리적 인공환경은 이런 우려를 해소시키는 중요한 문제로 크게 부각되고 있다. 인공환경은 자연환경과 함께 한 나라의 역사, 사회, 문화 전반과 밀접한 관계가 있다. 따라서 인공환경은 한 나라의 삶의 질을 판단하는 중요한 척도가 되는 것이다. 인공환경을 구상하고 설계하는 환경디자인은 그 무엇보다도 중요하며, 경제성장과 더불어 미래에는 그 중요성이 더욱 커지게 된다. 특히 생활공간의 쾌적한 디자인은 공간을 보는 사람에게 좋은 느낌을 갖게하며, 긍정적인 평가를 하게 하고, 행동을 결정하는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 이처럼 물리적 인공환경은 인간행동에 깊이 연관되어 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 도시 생활인에게 정서적인 만족을 주는 문화공간의 중요성이 강조되며, 인간성 회복으로 자연적인 인간애의 교류로서 생활의 조화를 이루고 정화된 정서와 풍요롭고 윤택한 삶을 되찾고자 하는 의미에서의 조형예술 전시공간 디자인은 도시에 활기를 불어 넣어 이미지를 갖게 한다는 측면에서 그 의의를 찾아볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 이해를 바탕으로 인간과 환경사이의 관계를 가장 효과적이며 타당한 지원성의 인자들을 연구하는데 근본 목적을 두고, 그 목적의 수행을 위해 발전적 모형 사례를 제시하는 디자인 방법의 연구로, 다음과 같은 과정으로 연구를 진행하였다. · 문화공간의 이해를 돕기 위해 개념 및 특성을 살펴보았다. - 문화가 인간에게 주는 중요성을 파악하고, 정보와 커뮤니케이션을 문화공간의 새로운 개념을 지시하기 위한 기본개념으로 사용하였다. · 문화공간의 역할을 강조하고, 현장을 분석하였다. - 문화공간의 현실분석을 통해 연구의 필요성을 파악하여 디자인의 기본방향을 위한 개념적 틀을 설정하였다. · 디자인 제시를 위한 실증론적 디자인 개념과 문제해결을 위한 접근방법을 제시하였다. - 시각 언어로서의 생활공간과 형태에 반응하는 그리고 그것이 인간에게 미치는 영향에 주목하여, 기성의 문제점을 간파하고 새로운 것을 추구하며 무한히 변화할 수 있는 실체의 가능성을 살펴봄으로써 본 연구의 접근방법의 배경으로 디자인의 한계를 극복하였다. · 인간 - 환경의 상호 연관성을 사고의 측으로 하고, 앞서 제시된 정보를 수용하는 문화공간을 디자인 모형 사례로서 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 제시된 실내환경 디자인의 표현 과정은 제시된 디자인 방법론을 기준으로 하여 다음과 같은 단계를 밟았다. 1. 디자인 목표, 기본 방향 제시 2. 대상지 선정 및 현황 3. 이미지의 시각화 과정 - 디자인 개념 - 이미지의 흐름 - 이미지의 종합 4. Feed Back 과정을 통한 해결안 제시 5. 전체 디자인 과정에 대한 결과의 검토 및 평가 이상의 연구는 환경이 인간특성에서 일어날 수 있는 변화와 범위, 종류를 결정하는 하나의 요인으로 인간에게 있어서 환경의 영향이 중요하다는 사실을 인식하고 미래 인간의 새로운 문화와 가치를 정립시키는 환경디자인에 있어서 간학제적 접근을 통한 총체적 연구가 이루어져야 하며 환경의 예술화라는 미학적 문제의 해결방안으로서 가치를 지니고 있다는 논지를 사례연구의 일례를 통해 입증함으로서 본 연구의 의의를 찾고자 한다.;There is a new expectation for future society of a human being as the society has been industrialized and informationized with the development of scientific technologies, on the other hand, because of the apprehension for mechanization of the style of living, the artificial environment as a living space is greatly embossed as an important problem which can settle the apprehension. The artificial environment as well as natural environment is closely related with history, society, and the whole field of culture of a country. Therefore, the artificial environment is an important criterion to estimate the quality of living in the country. An environmental design envisioning and laying out the artificial environment is more important than anything else and its importance will be more and more enlarged with economic growth in the future. Particularly, an agreeable design of living space plays a significant role of leading a person who watches the space to good feeling, positive judgement, and determination of his behavior. The facts mentioned above show that the artificial environment is strongly connected with the behavior of a human being. Accordingly, the importance of cultural space which supplies emotional satisfaction to city dwellers and we find a meaning in the aspect that the designing a exbition space of the plastic arts, which intends to realize harmony of human nature and to get back the refined sentiment and abundant and plentiful life, stirs up liveliness and gives an image to the city. Based on these understandings, this thesis treats a study of a design method that places a fundamental objective on the research of the factors supporting the relation between a human being and environment and presents a model for the better to accomplish the objective. The research process can be summerized as follows : · The concepts and characteristics of the cultural space are investigated to understand the space. - This thesis grasps the importance of culture for a human being and uses information and communication as basic concepts to indicate new concepts of cultural space. · The role of cultural space is stressed and its status is analyzed. - This thesis establishes a conceptual frame for the basic direction of the design after taking hold of necessity of research by an actual analysis of the cultural space. · The approach method for solutions of encountered problems and the positivistic design concept are presented to design proposal. - This thesis overcomes the design limits by taking note of the effects, which respond to the living space as a visual language and the frame and which are come to a human being, and by examining the possibility of reality which sees through the problems, pursuits something new, and varies infinetely. · The cultural space, which accomodates the previously presented informations, is shown as a model with considering the interrelation between a human being and environment. The expression process of interior environemental design presented in this thesis goes through the following steps, based on the indicated design methodology : 1. Presentation of design objective and basic direction 2. SITE selection and its situation 3. Visualizing process of image - Concept image - Image design flow - Synthesis of images 4. Presentation of solution by Feed Back mechanism 5. Examination and evaluation of results for the whole design process The significance of this study is found by proving, through an example of the case study, the point of an argument that the environmental design, which sets up new culture and value of a human being in the future under the recognition of the fact that the environmental effects are very important to a human being with respect to the reason, i.e., the environment determines the range and kind of changes occurred in human characteristics, should be studies overally through the interdisciplanary approach and it is valuable as a solution of the aesthetic problem - change of environment into art.
