무용에서의 움직임과 음악의 요소가 작품의 인상에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 무용에 있어서의 움직임과 음악의 요소가 작품의 인상에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여 6 종류의 무용작품을 대상으로 1, 움직임 + 음악, 2. 움직임 3. 음악 이러한 세가지 조건을 달리 하였을때 느끼는 감상의 차이점을 밝히기 위하여 무용에 대한 전문적인 지식이 없는 인문계 여자 고등학교 3학년 학생 102명을 상대로 다음과 같은 가설을 설정하여 자료를 수집하였다. 1. 인자분석에 있어서 주요한 인자는 2 -3개의 인자로 추출될 것이다. 2. 자극적 세가지 조건 중에서 가장 강한 인상을 받는 것은 움직임일 것이다. 3. 음악과 움직임의 관계가 병행적일 경우, 즉 빠른음악과 약동적인 움직임의 경우는 보다 dynamic하게 느낄것이고, 느린 음악과 조용한 움직임의 경우는 보다 static한 인상을 줄 것이다. 그리고 대립적일 경우에는 양극의 중간적인 인상을 줄 것이다. 이와 같은 가설을 검증하기 위하여 102명을 세 집단( A반, B반, C반)으로 34명씩 나누어 A반은 움직임 + 음악, B반은 움직임, C반은 음악으로 된 작품을 제시하여 감상하게 하였다. 2분 - 5분 정도의 길이를 가진 무용 작품을 시청한 후 35개의 형용사 문항을 4단계 평정으로 평가하게 하였다. 즉 한 작품의 감상이 끝난 후 5분안에 평가를 하게했고 평가가 끝나면 5분 휴식 후에 다시 다음 작품을 감상하도록 하여 선행작품의 인상에 대한 영향을 예방하게 하였다. 이렇게 수집한 자료를 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 주요한 인자로는 Static - Dynamic인자와 불쾌 - 쾌인자 였다. 둘째, 세가지로 나뉜 표현자극별 평점의 차이에서는 움직임의 인상이 근소한 차이로 우세하였으나 유의성 검증결과 의의있는 차가 없었다. 그리고 표현기법별 평점의 차이에서는 의의있는 차가 있었으며 표현기법과 표현자극간의 상호작용 효과도 작품 감상에 의의있는 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 움직임과 음악이 병행하는 작품 가운데 빠르고 약동적인 작품은 보다 쾌한 인상과 함께 dynamic해짐을 알수있으며 느리고 조용한 작품은 보다 불쾌한 인상과 함께 static 하였다. 그리고 움직임과 음악이 대립되는 작품은 양극의 중간위치의 인상을 받았다. 이러한 것을 종합해 볼때 무용에서의 움직임과 음악의 두가지 요소는 무용 작품의 인상에 영향을 미치는 것으로 해석되어 진다.;The purpose of this study is to clarify the influence on the impression of dance works by the elements of music and motion. To meet this purpose, data have been collected on 102 high school girls who have no professional knowledge on dance. The data is based on 3 different conditions, music & motion, music only, and motion only in 6 different types of dance. Next are the hypothesis to be proved. 1. The basic elements could be summarized into 2-3 facts by analysis. 2. The strongest stimulus between the three elements is motion. 3. When dynamic music and motion, one would feel more dynamic, and in case of static music and motion it would give more static impression. And music and motion are opposite to, it would give moderate impression of the two feelings. To verify the hypothesis, 102 girls were divided into three groups. 34 in each group. Group A was to watch a work based on music & motion. Group B, motion only and Group C, music only. After viewing 2-5 minutes of the dance, they were to answer 35 questions which were stated in adjectives of 4 states. In short after looking at a project, one was to evaluate each project before going onto the next on after 5 minutes rest. So there won't be any remaining images of the forehead project. Collected data under such circumstances read to following solutions. 1. Basic elements are static-dynamic elements and pleasant-unpleasant elements. 2. In the difference between expression stimulus divided three, motion gave the most strong impression. But there was not big difference of impression by the result of meaning test. And there is meaningful difference in the grades between expression ways. But also the mutual effects of expression way and expression stimulus influence meaningfully on dance work appreciation. 3. When in dance music and motion goes abreast., those with fast tempo and dynamic are more pleasant and dynamic. Low tempo dance on the contrast gives more static and unpleasant images. And dance in music opposite to motion gives moderate impression. From those experiments, I can say that the two elements, motion and music, influence on the impression of dance works.
