한국문화의 토속적 이미지 표현 연구

Abstract

It is said that the most Korean things is the best in international one. This is derived from Korean wanting to preserve their owns, however, to find the real meaning of what it is show, it means that the thing shown itself at best in the unaffected way can be the most beautiful and greatest thing. In this point of view, we should first look for the works covering the traditional and cultural Korean image among many Korean literature, such as a mode of living, natural environment, religion, Korean sentiment, and so on. So I'm going to reveal that those visual expressions can be recognized as something different from those of writings not by narrating them in abstract and imaginary image like literature but by making those undescribable images visualize as the compounded and symbolic things or colors. So. I tried to not only research the general theory on the language arts of literature and the work of the traditional Korean culture, but also tried to visual-communicate them by the way of individual methods. In the visual expression, I took up rather the simplified and distorted methods than the realistic expressions for the purpose of illuminating the folk culture that has come down since the past or broken at present in the view of modern point. In addition, I tried to select the symbolic color that is good enough to be the model of that of Korea. In conclusion, I started to research to expect that I will show how the two things that are different in the qualitative and formative aspect connect each other and know the result of mediating them beyond logic.;가장 한국적인 것이 가장 세계적이란 말이 있다. 이 말은 물론 내나라 것을 소중히 하자는 한국인에게서 나온 말이지만, 그 말이 내포하는 진정한 의미를 찾는다면, 자기의 색깔이 자연스럽게 잘 드러나는 것이 가장 아름다울 수 있고 가장 훌륭한 무엇이 될 수 있다는 것을 의미한다고 할 수 있을 것이다. 이런 관점에서 우리의 문학작품 가운데 한국 문화의 토속적 이미지(생활상, 자연적 배경, 종교, 한국인의 정서 등)가 강하게 드러나는 작품을 먼저 발굴하여, 여기에서 그려지고 있는 형상 즉, 언어에서의 추상적·상상적 이미지를 서술적 나열이 아닌, 압축된 상징적 형상이나 색채로 시각화하므로서 말로서 표현하지 못하는 의미 내용을 비쥬얼 이미지로 번역하였을 때 시각적 표현이 문자와의 다른 어떤 모습으로 각인될 수 있음을 연구해 보고져 한다. 그래서 먼저 문학이라는 언어 예술에 관한 이론과 우리나라 문학 작품에서 그려지는 한국의 토속적 문학에 관한 전반적 이론을 연구하고 하나의 개성된 표현 형식을 빌려 시각 커뮤니케이션화 하고자 노력하였다. 시각적 표현에 있어서는 과거로부터 이어져 오는 (혹은 현재는 단절된) 우리 토속문화를 현대적 관점에서 조명한다는 의미에서 사실적 형태의 표현보다는 다소 단순화·왜곡화된 표현 방법을 취하였다. 그리고 색채 또한 한국적인 상징적 색채를 선별 하는데 주력하였다. 그리하여 질적, 형식적으로 다른 두 가지의 것이 어떤 의미로 관련을 맺고, 초논리적으로 매개할 수 있는 결과를 가져오기를 바라며 본 연구에 임하였다.
