유치원 환경색채계획 연구

Abstract

유아기는 인간 발달 과정에서 환경의 영향에 민감한 시기이다. 그러므로 초기 유아교육이 이루어지는 유치원은 환경의 자극에 대한 상호작용과 유아의 성장과 발달을 돕는 긍정적 지원성의 환경이 제공되어야 한다. 교육공간의 중요성에 대한 인식으로 외형적인 요소는 질적인 향상을 보이지만, 디자인의 요소 중 핵심적인 요소라 할 수 있는 색채에 대한 체계적인 접근은 미흡하다. 환경색채는 환경의 성격을 구성하는데 중요하게 작용하는 부분으로 제대로 계획되어 유기적으로 다루어져야 인간에게 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 유아기의 여러 경험들은 인간발달의 기초가 된다. 환경적 결함으로 인한 성장과 발달의 결손은 다음 단계의 성장ㆍ발달에도 영향이 이어진다. 교육학자 Bloom은 풍요로운 환경에서 자라는 유아일수록 정서가 풍부하고 다양하며 색채감각이나 지능발달 면에서 차이를 보여주며, 지능 발달에 도움이 되는 환경은 색채환경이 풍요로운 환경이라고 했다. 이에 본 연구자는 사용자 감성적용의 측면에서 접근한 유치원 환경색채계획에 대한 체계적인 연구과정을 근거로 대상 유치원의 환경색채디자인의 사례를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 진행은 다음과 같다. 1장에서는 유치원 환경색채계획 연구의 목적과 방법 및 범위를 설정하였다. 2장에서는 유아와 유치원 환경에 대한 문헌적 고찰을 통해서 유아의 감성적 측면을 고려한 색채환경이 유아에게 긍정적으로 작용할 수 있음을 살펴보았다. 3장에서는 색채의 심리적인 측면에 대한 접근으로 유아가 색을 어떤 방식으로 지각하고 반응하는지에 대한 문헌연구를 하였다. 또한 유아선호색채 특성과 색의 심리적, 생리적 영향의 측면에 대해 알아보았다. 4장에서는 NCS컬라시스템을 활용하여 기존의 국ㆍ내외 사례조사를 통해 색채디자인의 새로운 가능성을 찾고자 하였다. 유아의 감성적 측면을 고려하기 위해 선호색채와 선호배색에 대한 설문조사를 실시하여 유치원 내부 각 영역별로 색채적용을 위한 구체적인 색채팔레트를 제시하여 디자인의 틀을 마련하였다. 5장에서는 구체적인 색채적용을 위해 국내의 유치원 가운데 색채환경 개선이 필요한 사례유치원을 선정하여 대상지 주변의 인공 및 자연환경을 분석하여 외부 주조색에 대한 범위를 설정하여 도시경관 측면에서도 조화롭게 작용하고자 하였다. 그리고 내ㆍ외부 색채현황에 대한 실측조사를 통해 문제점분석을 하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해 얻은 결과와 문헌연구, 사례조사, 설문조사를 통해 얻은 성과들을 종합하여 대상지 유치원의 환경색채계획 사례를 제시하였다. 6장에서는 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 하여 연구의 결론 및 타당성을 밝혔다. 본 연구를 통해 제시한 색채팔레트와 이를 적용한 색채디자인 사례를 참고하여 향후 유치원의 환경색채계획 시에 활용한다면 보다 긍정적인 통합환경으로의 유치원 이미지를 창출하며, 유아 교육공간의 질적ㆍ미적수준을 제고 할 수 있으리라 전망한다.;The purpose of this study is to improve quality of life and offer an opportunity to diverse social and cultural experiences in creative environments, and to provide human beings with positive behavioral influences through environmental color planning. The recent changes in life demand paradigm shift in the various fields of society. Also, change is required in the kindergarten educational sector and many parts of educational process has changed to meet this demand. The changes in education sector have brought about request for a new type of education space which differentiate previously uniformed one. It leaves something to be desired the needs of user's sensibility application. Although the quality of kindergarten facilities has improved in terms of architectural and environmental aspects, there has been less progress in detailed environmental color aspects. The environmental color has an important impact on establishing environmental characteristics, and can give positive influences on human beings when used purposefully and reasonably. Thereby, the environmental color for kindergarten should be considered core design tools. The purpose, method and scope of this research on environmental color planning of the kindergarten by considering user sensibility were suggested in Chapter 1. In Chapter 2, 3, the basic data for this study are collected by examining literature and related materials. Also, the role of color in educational environment and the necessity of planning of color environment for kindergarten are suggested by examining the necessity of application user sensibility color. To set up the direction of environmental color planning of the application of the kindergarten user sensibility, this research understands the function of color that should be applied to each space by analyzing space function and color functions. In Chapter 4, for a detailed color application plan, this research analyzed the problems and actual environmental conditions through measurement of the kindergarten colors. It also carries out a survey of actual users to find out their sensibility color , color combination, and their images for each space. In Chapter 5, it establishes a standard of exterior dominant color through surrounding artificial environment analysis and the balance of the kindergarten exterior natural color. Finally, the result of the design process, the improvement of kindergarten environment could be transformed from simple functional places into dynamic places by rearranging their environmental colors. Through this research, I would like to suggest plans for user's sensibility application color to contribute to the successful implementation , and further to the formation of creative children who grow up to became productive man of the society.
