텍스타일 디자인 표현연구

Abstract

자유의지의 표현으로 전개된 현대미술은 모든 미술분야에 걸쳐 매우 다양하게 나타나며 이러한 현상은 순수미술뿐 아니라 실용을 위한 응용미술에서도 나타난다. 응용미술에는 여러 분야가 있지만 특히 섬유미술은 부드러운 촉감과 시각적으로 다양한 표현성 때문에 신체적, 정신적 욕구를 충족시키는 소재로 과거로 부터 지속적으로 연구되어 왔다. 섬유미술의 범위가 더욱 확장되고 다양해 지면서 오늘날의 텍스타일은 단순히 생활을 위해 사용한다는 범위를 넘어서 조형예술의 한 분야로 확대되어 왔으며, 또한 대중에게 심성적으로 많은 영향을 끼쳐왔음을 고려할때 사회와 유기적으로 관련된 생활디자인으로서 매우 큰 의미를 가지고 있다고 할 수 있다 본 논문은 섬유산업에 있어서 중추적인 분야인 텍스타일(Textile) 디자인의 개발을 위해, 디자이너의 자유로운 창조적 주관을 다양한 재료와 기법을 통해 조형적으로 표현하는 방법을 디자인 제작과정을 통해 체험하여 보다 찬의적인 디자인의 개발을 모색하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적에 따른 이론적 연구로서 텍스타일 디자인의 개념과 기능, 그리고 과거로부터 발생하여 발전되어온 패턴의 종류를 문헌을 통하여 고찰하였으며 다양한 재료의 표현기법을 작업을 통하여 연구하였다. 이러한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 작품을 제작함에 있어서는 20세기초에 발생하여 오늘날에 이르기까지 현대미술에 지대한 영향을 끼친 추상표현주의와 연관시켜 '표현'과 '우연성'을 중요시하여 디자인의 요소와 원리에 의해 본인의 주관적 세계를 추상적으로 표현하였다. 그래서 형식보편화된 디자인에서 탈피, 예술과의 접맥을 통해 창조적 디자인을 연구함으로써, 시시각각 매우 빠르게 변화되는 국제시장의 패션 라이프 싸이클에 맞춰 패션의 기본이 되는 텍스타일 디자인의 개발을 촉진하고 발전하는데 기여하고자 한다.;The modern fine art unfolded with the expression of free appears very diversely over all the fine art fields. And, this phenomenon appears in the applied fine art for practical use as well as the pure fine art also. In the applied fine art, there are various fields. But, especially, fiber fine art has been studied continuously from the past with the material to satisfy the physical and spiritual desire, because of the soft touch and the expression nature which is diverse visually. According as the range of fiber art is expanded and diversifed all the more, in considering that the textile of today has been used as one field of .plastic art to surmount the range to use for life simply and as the basis over the whole of human life and that it has much influence mentally, it is occupying very big relative importance as the life design related to with society systematically. The goal of this study is to grope for the development of more creative design by experiencing the method to express the free creative subjectivity of designer with the diverse materials and techniques plastically for the development of textile design which is the central field of fiber industry through the manufacture process of design. This researcher studied the concept and function of textile design and the pattern kind and expression technique which have been developed by being generated from the past through literature as the theoretical study based on this goal. In manufacturing the work, this researcher expressed my own subjective world abstractly by means of the element and principle of design, by relating to the abstract expressionism which has great influence on the modern fine art up to today after being generated at early 20th century and attaching importance to 'expression' and 'contingency'. So. this researcher is to contribute toward promoting and progressing the development of textile design to be the basis of fashion, by fitting to the life cycle of fashion of international market to be changed very fast momently, with the study of creative design, through the grafting upon art, after getting out of the formalized and universalized design.
