중첩에 의한 공간 역동성 및 연속성의 표현과 디자인에 관한연구

Abstract

디자인은 인간생활의 많은 영역을 구체화시키는 것이지만, 인간의 지각차원이 배제되었던 추상적 균질적 공간을 탈피하고자 하는데서 전개되고 있다. 즉 추상화된 유클리트 공간을 벗어나 공간을 지각하는 개인의 체험에서 이해하려고 하는 것이며, 감성을 수용하고 표현하려는 것으로서 이성적 합리성보다는 복합성과 의미성을 중시하고, 단순디자인보다는 인간적 측면에 관심이 있다고 볼 수 있다. 그리고 그 결과는 형태와 공간적 성질로 나타난다. 그러므로 공간을 형태 요소들로써 구체화시키는 데에는 공간의 성격에 의해 요구되어지는 적절한 변화와 질서를 주는 것이 중요한 과제이다. 공간구성에서 질서를 부여한다는 것은, 공간의 흐름을 자유롭게 하거나 제한함으로써 공간의 이동을 배열하는 행위를 의미하며 이것은 공간적 조절과 흐름을 창출하기 위하여 공간형태의 변형된 구성체계로 구체화시키거나 새로운 공간기법을 도입하여 공간지각의 차원을 풍부하게 함으로써 형태에 의미를 부여하고자 시도한다. 따라서 본 연구는 새로운 변화를 추구하고 공관개념과 형태구성의 상관관계에 의한 질서를 부여하고자 한다. 이것은 부분성을 강조하기보다는 하나의 분리할 수 없는 유동적인 전체성을 이루어는 것이며 이러한 관점에서 공간적 형태 속성을 기초로 하는 유기적 구성에 대한 방법론적 접근이다. 이를 위한 본 연구자의 디자인 원리로서 중첩을 설정하고 공간구성에 나타난 중첩의 원리를 파악, 단조로운 형태지각과 공간체험을 보완하여 그 원리를 적용한 디자인을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구의 진행과정은 다음과 같다. 1. 중첩의 이론적 고찰 · 도해적 분석을 통한 중첩의 이해와 시·공개념의 변화에 의한 표현으로 큐비즘의 꼴라쥬에서 영향을 받아 전개되는 데 스틸, 러시아 구성주의의 공간표현을 통하여 공간개념 → 변형 → 조형적 표현을 연구 · 공간을 구성하는 기초로써 중첩의 요소가 되는 각 요소들의 특성과 그 형태의 표현 연구2. 공간구성에서의 중첩유형 중첩요소에 의한 각 요소별 중첩유형을 단위공간과 공간들의 결합 및 배치관계에 의해 분류한 후 그 특성과 효과를 연구 3. 사례 분석 공간요소를 기준으로 작품들의 유형을 분류·분석하여 중첩요소의 활용과 그 효과를 연구 4. 디자인 제안 공간구성의 방법론으로 중첩의 개념 및 그 특성을 적용한 형태 구성에 의한 디자인 제시 본 연구는 형태의 다양한 변화로써 공간의 깊이감 지각과 상호 연속성에 의한 시각적 제한으로 연속적으로 변화하는 공간질서 속에서의 조화로운 전체성을 만들어 내어 의미 있는 공간구성을 하기 위함이다. 그러므로 형태를 이루고 있는 요소는 다양하지만 중첩을 개념으로 공간개념 및 시각적 인식을 기초로 한 형태나 공간에 대한 관계성으로서 효율적인 공간구성 및 디자인 원리의 한 방법을 제시하는 것이며 미적 공간체험을 위한 공간표현 방법에 그 의의가 있다.;Design materializes many areas of human life, but the purpose of design is to escape from the abstract and homogeneous space that was devoid of human perception. The result is shown in the shape and the spacial characteristics. Therefore, one of the most important tasks in materializing space into shape factors is to give reasonable change and order required by spacial characteristics. Giving order in the spacial composition translates into arranging the This is an movement of space by freeing or limiting the flow of space. effort to give meaning to the shape by enriching the aspects of spatial perception through materialization of modified structure of spatial shape or introduction of a new spatial technique. This study will attempt at pursuing new changes and placing order though the relationship between space and form. This effort is an attempt to achieve a flexible entirety that can not be divided, not focusing on partial aspects. In this respect, it is a methodological approach to the organic composition based on the spatial shape characteristics. Overlap was chosen as the main design principle for the study and throughout the study, the overlap principle will be examined in the space composition and a design applying this principle by revising and modifying simple form perceptions and spatial experience. This study is composed of the following four chapters: 1. A theoretical study of overlap - An understanding of overlap thought graphical analysis and expression of change through change of time and spatial concept. The flow from spatial concept, change to formative art expression is examined through a research on spatial expressions of De Stijl and Russian Constructivism that were influenced by Cubism's collage. - The characteristics of overlap elements that form the basics of space and the expressions of the shapes are examined. 2, The overlap types in spatial composition The types of overlap by each overlap element are classified into the harmony and allocation of unit spaces and the characteristics and effect of these types are reviewed. 3. Case Study The types of works are classified and analyzed according to spatial elements so as to examine the use of overlap factors and their effects. 4. Design Proposal A design was proposed biased on form composition by applying the overlap concept and its characteristics as a methodology of spatial composition. This objective of this study is generate a meaningful spatial composition by creating a harmonious entirety in the ever-changing space order through time limit based on the perception of spatial depth and mutual continuity as a various change of form. Therefore, although the elements that make up the form vary, it is to suggest a way to suggest effective spatial composition and design principle as a complicity of form or space based on the spacial concept and visual perception with the duplication concept. The significance of the study is on the method of expressing space for an artistic spatial experience.
