유기적 이미지를 모티브로 한 번 아웃(Burn-out) 소재가공

Abstract

예술가가 그림을 그릴 때는 눈에 보이는 외관만을 묘사하는 것이 아니라 무엇인가 말하고자 하는 것을 이미지로 재해석하여 표현한다. 따라서 인간의 예술 행위는 새로운 아름다움을 창조하는 대상을 그대로 복사하는 재현이 아니라, 예술가의 주관에 의해서 표현되는 것이라 할 수 있다. 인간은 감정이나 생각을 표출함으로써 살아있는 자신을 발견한다. 이러한 인간의 자기표현 중 하나가 감정 표현이다. 인간 감정의 다양한 양상을 형상화하여 유기적인 이미지를 모티브로 하여 디자인하였다. 그리고 섬유의 평면적인 패턴의 변화에 머무르지 않고 섬유 표면의 요철감과 번 아웃 가공 실험을 통한 특수표현효과로 입체적, 실용적, 개성적인 텍스타일 디자인으로 재창조하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 위한 연구 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다양한 인간 감정 표현을 위하여 유기적인 이미지에 대한 연구를 하였다. 둘째, 텍스타일 소재와 다양한 소재가공에 대하여 알아보았다. 셋째, 유기적인 이미지를 표현하기 위하여 섬유에 입체 효과를 얻을 수 있는 번아웃 가공실험을 통해 가공의 원리와 가공법에 대하여 알아보았다. 넷째, 번아웃 가공 기법에 적절한 소재와 약품농도를 선정하여 유기적인 이미지 디자인을 구현하였다. 이러한 연구 과정을 통하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인간의 복잡 미묘한 감정을 유기적인 이미지로 표현하는 것이 적합하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 디자인 모티프를 표현하기 위하여 먹으로 드로잉 함으로 나의 의식 그리고 무의식 속에 있는 유기적인 이미지를 표현하기에 적합함을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 번아웃 가공 기법에 대한 실험 연구를 통하여 경제적인 약품 처방을 알 수 있었다. 넷째, 새로운 텍스타일을 디자인하기 위해서는 소재개발이 필수라는 인식을 가능하게 되었으며 또한, 번 아웃 기법은 텍스타일의 예술적 표현을 높일 수 있는 아름다움을 가지고 있을 뿐만 아니라 고부가가치 창출을 가능케 함을 확인할 수 있었다. 현대 텍스타일 디자인은 그 소재나 기법에서 표현이 다양하므로 텍스타일 디자인에 적극적으로 활용됨으로서 현대인의 감성을 자극하고, 독창성을 최대한 부여한 입체표면 효과로 자신의 개성을 표출하고 고급화와 내면의 감정을 중요시 하는 소비자의 욕구를 조금이나마 충족시킬 수 있다.;When artists paint, they don't describe only the external appearance that was seen, but they give expression what they want to say, which is interpreted as an image. Therefore human artistic activities are not reappearance, that is copying an object creating a new beauty as it is but are behavior which is expressed by artists' subjectivity. Human beings find themselves alive by expressing their feelings or thoughts. One of these human self-expressions is feeling expression. Human beings have formed various aspects of human feelings and have designed motived by the organic images. And they didn't remain at textiles one-dimensional variations of pattern. On the contrary they tried to recreate three-dimensional, practical, individual textile design by special expression effect through the unevenness feelings of textile surface and the Burn-Out Processing experiment. For the purpose abovementioned is as following. First, for a various human feeling expression, study about organic images was made. Second, textile materials and a variety of material processing were examined. Third, to express organic images, principles and method of processing was examined through Burn-Out Processing experiment which is a method to give a three-dimensional effect to a fabrics. Fourth, adding to a Burn-Out Processing method, proper material and density of chemicals was selected and embodied organic image design. The result throughout these research process is as following. First, I found out that it is suitable to express human complex and delicate feelings as an organic image. Second, to express design motive, it is suitable to draw with a chinese ink to express organic image which is in my consciousness and unconsciousness. Third, through the experiment study about Burn-Out Processing Method, I can find out economical chemicals prescription. Fourth, a recognition that material development is necessary to design new textile is possible. Moreover, I can confirm that Burn-Out Method can produce high value-added as well as beauty which can promote artistic expression of textiles. Because contemporary textile design has various expressions in materials or techniques, by being applied to textile design positively three-dimensional surface effect, which is rich in originality can fulfill the consumer's desire which is to express his/her personality and regard high-class and internal feelings as important.
