現行 中學校 音樂敎科書에 수록된 民謠와 그 敎育 實態

Abstract

본 논문은 傳統音樂에 여러 분야 가운데에도 중요한 비중을 차지하고 있는 民謠가 중등학교에서 어떻게 교육되고 있는가를 알아보고 그 改善點을 찾아보는데 목적을 두고 있다. 본 論文은 민요교육의 실태를 살펴보기 위하여 첫째, 1988년 제5차교육과정에서 改定된 현대음악출판사, 지학사, 금성교과서, 세광음악출판사, 시사영어사의 다섯 종류의 교과서 분석을 통해 민요의 비중이 어느 정도인가를 알아보고 둘째, 敎育現場에서 실제 민요를 가르치고, 배우는 교사와 학생에게 민요에 대한 흥미도, 인지도, 가창활동, 악기활동, 창작활동, 감상활동에 대한 設問을 각각 조사하여 민요 교육의 현실태와 개선점을 찾아보았다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 改定된 音樂敎科書에서는 외국민요에 비하여 한국민요의 比重이 적었으며 이의 改善을 위하여 한국민요의 곡수를 더욱 增加시켜야 한다. 또한 敎育現場에서는 교사와 학생들의 민요에 대한 認識과 興味가 增加하고 있는 바, 민요교육에 대한 충실한 교육이 이루어져야 한다. 이를 위해선 민요교육에 대한 硏修가 활발히 이루어져야 하며 傳統樂器를 활용하는 敎育活動이 실시되어야 하고, 大衆媒體에서 민요의 생활화를 위하여 民謠普及에 힘써야 한다. 이 모든 것은 교사와 학생이 민요에 대한 愛情과 自負心을 가지고 꾸준히 실행할 때, 비로소 우리가 바라는 참다운 民謠敎育이 이루어지리라는 것이 본 연구의 결론이다.;Folk song that has a relative importance even among many fields of traditional music is the music that has a form revealed well on the nationality's general emotion. In addition, it abounds in a melody and rhythm. And it is a kind of song which the contemporaries sang with pleasure and is the music that they were able to meet with easily. But in recent years, the position of traditional folk song has been placed in a minimal level which only sustains its name in curriculum, therefore, various ways improved are proposed that we should emphasize on the education of traditional folk song. This approach is to improve teaching method of Korean traditional falk song. For this purpose, I analyzed the textbooks for music, which are used in Middle Schools. And by making up questions to the teachers and students, I tried to show the state of teaching falk song, and to find out a better teaching method. The summary is as follows. In revised music textbook, Korean folk song have a small proportion in comparison with foreign folk song. To adjust this situation, Korean folk song must be increased in number. With the increase of appreciation and interest in folk song among teachers and students, there requires more and more deepened education about folk song. For the sake of it, not only further study and training on "traditional folk song education" but also education activity making the most of traditional musical instruments must be put into practice faithfully. In addition, massmedia need to make an attempt to spreading traditional folk songs among the public so that people may lead daily lives with folk songs. When every teacher and student steadily try to popularize traditional folk song with pride and love, true education for traditional folk song which we hope to accomplish with sincerity, will come true.
