중학교 수학과 교육과정과 교과서 분석 연구

Abstract

현대 과학기술의 발달은 여러 분야에서 수학의 중요성을 요구하고 있다. 세계 각국에서는 수학교육의 현대화 작업이 활발히 진행되었는데 현대 수학적 방법의 지나친 조기 도입과 논리성의 지나친 강조는 실생활과의 괴리현상 등을 초래하여 적지 않은 비판을 받았다. 이러한 상황에서 1981년에 이르러 새로운 교육과정의 제정을 보게 되었으며 1984년부터 이에 의지한 교과서를 사용하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 1981년 공포된 제4차 교육과정에 의해 1986년부터 사용되고 있는 중학교 3학년의 수학교과서를 분석하고 교육과정과 교과서의 상호관계를 분석검토하여 중학교 수학교육과 교과서에 대한 계속적인 연구 작업에 도움을 주고자 하는 목적으로 착수하였다. 이와같은 연구를 위하여 첫째, 수학교육의 현대화의 배경을 고찰하였고 둘째, 제4차 교육과정의 교육목표와 지도내용을 분석하였으며 세째, 이 교육과정에 의하여 편찬된 중학교 3학년의 교과서를 분석 검토하였다. 그 결과 교과서는 교육과정의 목표에 밀접하게 관련되어 이상적으로 설정되었음을 알 수 있었다.;Math is emphasized as an indispensible instrument for the development of modern technology in various parts. World-wide efforts have been made to modernize math education A hasty introduction of modern mathematical method as well as an overestimation of logic caused to invite deviation from real life, and that was criticized. These treads initiated to enact new curriculum in 1981 and the revised textbook was put to use since 1984. This thesis try to analize the 3rd-grade math textbook of middle School which was published in 1986 according to the 4th curriculum and find out the correlation between curriculum and textbook for the purpose of providing basic data for successive studies. For these studies: 1. We consider the background of mordernization of math curriculum. 2. We analize aims and contents of the 4th curriculum. 3. We analize the third-grade math textbook according to the 4th curriculum. In cosequence of these analysis, we conclude that textbook be consistently contituted with close relation to the aims of curriculum.
