Kodaly Method에 대한 연구

Abstract

모든 학문 연구에 있어서 모국어를 읽고 쓰는 능력이 필수적인 것처럼 음악 기보법을 읽고 쓰는 음악적 기술은 음악에서도 전제요건이 된다. 本 논문은 가창을 근본으로 하는 체계적인 지도로 독보력 신장에 큰 교육 성과를 이룩한 Koda′ly Method를 살펴 봄으로써 우리나라 국민학교 학생의 독보력 신장을 위한 기초적 자료를 제공하는 데에 그 의의와 목적을 둔다. Koda′ly Method란 헝가리 음악 교육학자인 Z.Koda′ly의 음악교육철학을 그의 동료와 제자들이 여러 지도법으로 구체화 한 것으로, 본 논문에서는 여러 관계문헌과 자료를 통하여 조사하는 문헌 연구 방법에 의하여 다음과 같은 내용을 연구하고자 한다. 1. Z.Koda′ly의 음악 교육철학과 음악 연구활동을 살펴 봄으로써 Koda′ly Method의 발달과정과 교육원리를 알아본다. 2. Z.Koda′ly의 학습 순서, 교구, 교재 및 학습 방법 등을 통해 이 교육체제의 음악적 접근 방법을 살펴본다. 3. 우리나라 음악 교육을 위한 적용의 문제점과 이를 고려한 적용 방법을 모색해 본다. 이와 같은 내용을 연구한 결과, 이 교육체제에서는 독보력을 신장시키기 위하여 다음과 갈이 지도한다. 첫째, 아동 발달의 논리에 의하여 학습 순서를 정상 아동의 음악적 발달 과정에 의해 정한다. 둘째, 이동도법에 의한 계명창, 리듬말, 손기호 및 그림설명 등을 교구로 사용하여 독보를 쉽게 하도록 한다. 세째, 학습 교재로 정통적인 동요, 민요 및 예술 가곡들처럼 예술성이 높은 음악만을 사용한다. 이외에도 음악의 조기 교육을 중요시 하여 어릴적부터 율동, 노래게임, 암송창, 즉흥 연주등을 통하여 기본적인 음악 개념을 파악하고 음악기술을 습득하도록 하며, 이를 바탕으로 아동 개개인의 미적감각을 발전시키도록 한다. Koda′ly Method는 가창 중심의 교육이란 점에서 우리나라의 가창중심의 음악 교육과 부합되므로, 이 교육 체제의 적용을 위한 문제점 제시와 아울러 몇가지를 제언하였으며, 우리의 현실을 고려한 적용 방법도 모색해 보았다. 결론적으로 이 교육 체제의 특정한 학습 자료나 방법도 중요하지만 "음악은 만인의 것"이라는 Koda′ly의 신념이 우리가 받아들여야 할 가장 중요한 것이라고 생각된다. 비록 교구나 교육체제가 우리와 다를지라도 그의 음악 교육철학을 우리 음악교육에 적용하여 우리에게 맞는 교육방법이 연구되고 실현되야 할 것이다.;Reading and writing of musical notation is prerequisite to various music learning, just as the ability to read and write One's mother tongue is essential to all academic studies. Thus, this thesis aimed at providing the basic that promotes the skill of music reading for our children in the elementary school by researching the pedagogial principle of the Kodaly Method which was based on singing to promote the skill of music reading. I used various related literature and music education magazines for this thesis. This thesis intended to study following contents: 1. It researched the course of development and the philosophy of the Kodaly Method by considering Z.Kodaly's philosophy of music education and his educational activities. 2. It examined this system's musical approach through learning order, educational instruments, materials, and learning method of the Kodaly Method. 3. It considered the problems caused when this method is applied to music education in our country and its applying method. 4. Kodaly's philosophy about music was reflected to the music educational system in Hungary, at last it was developed educational system, so called Kodaly Method. 5. With a way, in order to promote the skill of music reading, Kodaly method guides as follows: First, its sequence is a child-developmental logic, based on the normal musical progression of children. Second, its tools are the movable-do system of solmization, rhythm syllables, hand sings and illustrations. Third, the materials of the method are authentic children's songs and folk song material, and the music of great composers. Besides, it is emphasized that early education of music in children is very important, and it necessary to learn basic music concepts and skills by certain instruction, such as body movement, singing game, rote singing, improvisation. As pointed out, Kodaly Method centered singing education is coincided with our music education, with a reason, this thesis is approached training problems and methods as considered substantially, and provided their solutions. In conclusion, it is most important to accept the Kodaly's philosophy of music education that music belongs to everyone. Finally, we should give the efforts to study and practise the music education which are fits to our situation through acceptance his philosophy of music education.
