음악치료 수퍼비전 현황과 수퍼바이지의 수퍼비전 교육내용 요구

Abstract

임상과 학문의 결합인 음악치료에서는 음악치료사의 임상 훈련이 필수적이며 임상 훈련에서 이루어지는 수퍼비전은 치료 세션(session)의 전문적인 질을 통제, 유지 및 증대시키는 역할을 수행하므로 매우 중대한 역할을 한다. 이에 반해 국내 음악치료 수퍼비전에 관한 연구는 미비한 실정에서 본 연구는 현재 국내 음악치료 수퍼비전의 현황과 음악치료사들이 수퍼비전에서 요구하는 내용을 알아보고 음악치료 수퍼비전에 대한 효율성과 질을 높일 수 있는 토대를 마련하고자 한다. 이를 위해 음악치료사의 배경 요인과 수퍼비전 현황 및 교육 내용 요구를 조사하고, 교육내용 요구를 음악치료사의 학부전공, 임상경험, 수퍼비전 경험에 따라 비교 하였다. 본고에서는 음악치료 대학원 석사과정 중에 있는 자와 석사과정 졸업자 중 현재 각 기관에서 음악치료를 실시하고 있는 음악치료사 144명이 참여하였으며, 설문 중 음악치료 수퍼비전 교육내용 부분은 문수정(1999)이 제작한 ‘상담 수퍼비전 요구분석 질문지’를 음악치료 상황에 맞게 내용을 수정하고 재구성하여 ‘음악치료 수퍼비전 교육내용’으로 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 프로그램(Ver.12.0)을 이용하여 기술 통계를 실시하였다. 조사대상자의 일반적 특성과 수퍼비전 현황, 교육내용의 문항별 평균 점수를 알아보기 위해 관련된 문항에 대해서는 빈도분석을 실시하였고 집단 별 수퍼비전 교육내용 점수를 비교하기 위해서 집단 평균비교와 일원분산분석(One-way ANOVA)를 실시하였다. 수퍼비전 현황 조사 결과, 재학생의 많은 비율이 현재 수퍼비전을 받고 있으며 주로 주 1회 개인 수퍼비전을 받고 있다고 응답했다. 졸업생 및 수료생의 경우 정기적인 수퍼비전을 받고 있는 자의 비율이 낮으며 주로 한 달에 한번, 동료 수퍼비전이나 개인수퍼비전을 받고 있다고 하였다. 응답자 대부분이 수퍼비전에 대한 필요성에 대해 높이 인식하였으며 수퍼비전 활성화를 위해 수퍼비전 기회의 확대를 필요로 하였고, 개별과 집단 수퍼비전을 함께 받기를 원하는 비율이 높았다. 한편 재학생은 일주일에 한번과 졸업생 및 수료생의 경우 한 달에 한번 수퍼비전을 받기를 원하는 등 요구빈도에 차이가 있었다. 한편 음악치료 수퍼비전 교육내용 요구의 분석 결과, 하위 영역 중 사례이해(case conceptualization)가 가장 높은 요구를 보였으며 그 다음으로는 알아차리기(awareness), 치료계획 및 사례관리(music therapy planning and case management), 치료사의 인간적&#8228; 윤리적 태도(humane and ethical attitude), 언어 및 음악기술(communicative and music skills) 순이었다. 교육내용의 경력별 집단의 평균차는 유의미 하지 않았으며, 음악과 비음악 학부 전공별 집단 비교에서는 하위 영역 중 사례이해가 p=.026(p<.05)로 유의미한 평균차를 보였다. 정규 교육과정에서의 임상 훈련 이후 수퍼비전 경험 유무에 따라 교육내용 요구를 비교한 결과, 역시 사례이해 영역에서 수퍼비전 경험이 있는 집단이 없음 집단에 비해 높은 점수를 보였고, p=.055(p> .05)로 유의미한 수준은 아니나 높은 상관관계를 보였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 수퍼비전 현황과 교육내용 요구에 관한 결과는 수퍼비전 프로그램 개발에 반영할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공함으로써 집단에 따라 차별적인 수퍼비전 교육내용 구성을 할 수 있는 토대를 제공하였다. 또한, 수퍼바이저를 위한 교육제도나 지침이 마련되어 있지 않은 국내 실정에서 본 연구 결과는 수퍼바이저에게 수퍼바이지에 대한 기초 정보를 제공할 뿐 아니라 수퍼바이지의 높은 교육 요구 영역을 이해하게 됨으로써 수퍼비전 공급자로서 효율적인 교육을 제공할 수 있는 기본 지침이 될 수 있으리라 본다.;In Music therapy, which is defined as a combination of clinical experience and academic study, clinical training of the music therapists is absolutely required. In addition, the supervision that is apart of training plays a crucial role in music therapy by controlling, maintaining and increasing overall quality of therapy session. However, the study on music therapy supervision has been hardly done. Therefore, the purposes of this study are to investigate the actual conditions of music therapy supervision, to analyze the tendency of music therapists' educational needs on the basis of respondents' clinical experience, major and supervision experience, and finally to form the basis of improving the efficiency and quality of supervision. The respondents of the questionnaire of this study consists of 144 music therapists who are in the master's course now and who have clinical sessions after graduation. The supervision educational needs are measured by Music Therapy Supervision Educational Questionnaire, which was originally developed by Moon Su-jung(1999) and reorganized appropriately to music therapy by the researcher of this study. Descriptive analysis and One-way ANOVA were used for data analysis. The results of supervision actual conditions analysis are as follows; many of students in the master's course on music therapy are supervised regularly, mainly once a week, by individual method. And in the case of the masters and the master-to-bes, those who supervised regularly are much lesser, and are supervised monthly by peers. The majority of respondents realize keenly the necessity of supervision and want to increase the opportunity of supervision. And all respondents want to take both individual and group supervision. But there was a difference on the desirable frequency of supervision - students in master's course hope to be supervised once a week and the masters and the master-to-bes hope to be supervised once a month. The results of supervision educational need analysis are as follows; among five educational categories, all respondents recognize that 'case conceptualization' is the most important supervision education content. Secondly important one is 'awareness', third one is 'music therapy planning and case management' and fourth and fifth are 'humane and ethical attitude' and 'communicative and music skills'. The educational needs analysis showed no statistically significant difference on clinical experience group. However, in music major-non music major group, there was statistically significant difference on 'case conceptualization'(p<.05). And supervision experience-non experience group shows statistically marginal difference(p=.055). This study presents the empirical data about the degree of supervision contents needs and actual condition proposing the necessity of systematic supervision in terms of the educational contents which are connected to the music therapists.
