음악수업에서 동기유발을 위한 활동 중심 교수-학습 모형 개발

Abstract

효과적인 수업을 위해서는 학습 상황이나 학습자의 요구와 개인차, 동기유발 전략, 수업매체, 학습내용의 구성, 수업 방식 등 고려해야 할 점들이 많다. 특히 제7차 교육과정에서는 세계화·정보화에 적응할 수 있는 자기 주도적 능력의 신장을 강조하고 학생의 능력, 적성, 진로에 적합한 학습자 중심 교육 실천에 중점을 두고 있다. 음악과 교육과정에서는 학습자 중심 교육의 실천을 11, 12학년의 학생 선택 중심 교육과정인 ‘음악과 생활’로 반영하고 있다. 이 연구는 학생 선택 중심 교육과정으로 운영되고 있는 고등학교에서 ‘음악과 생활’ 교과의 효과적인 교수-학습 지도를 위하여 학습자의 동기를 고려한 활동 중심 교수-학습 모형의 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 음악 수업에서 학습자의 동기를 유발하기 위한 활동적인 교수-학습 지도 방법 및 모형 개발에 대하여 논의한 선행논문을 분석하여 연구의 필요성을 밝혔다. 선행논문의 분석을 통하여 음악 분야의 다양한 교수-학습 모형 개발이 부족하고 학교 수업 상황에 적용할 수 있는 동기유발 방법 제시가 구체적이지 못하며, 연구의 대상자가 초·중등학생으로 편중되어 있음을 지적하고 고등학생을 대상으로 한 교수-학습 방법 및 모형개발에 대한 연구가 필요함을 강조하였다. 그리하여 국·내외 전문서적을 통하여 학습동기, 고등학생의 정서적 발달 특징, 학생 선택 중심 교육과정인 ‘음악과 생활’에서 중점을 두고 있는 ‘활동 중심 음악 교육’ 등에 대하여 문헌을 통하여 고찰하였고 ‘음악과 생활’의 교육 목표, 내용체계, 교수-학습 방법에 대하여 교육과정 중심으로 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 활동 중심 수업 지도의 실제를 위한 구체적인 동기유발 방법을 제시하고, 활동 영역별 학습동기유발을 위한 활동 중심 교수-학습 모형을 개발하였다. 개발한 활동 중심 교수-학습 모형은 학교 현장에서 수정·보완되어 활용하고 있는 모형으로 각 영역별로 교수-학습 단계, 수업진행과정 그리고 교수-학습 활동으로 이루어졌다. 마지막으로 개발한 모형에 근거하여 학습동기유발을 위한 활동 중심 교수-학습 지도안을 ‘음악과 생활’ 교과서에서 공통적으로 다루고 있는 판소리 춘향가 중 ‘사랑가’를 학습제재로 선정하여 총3차시분의 교수-학습 지도안을 예시하였다. 예시한 동기유발 방법 및 교수-학습 모형은 학교 현장에서 실제 적용하여 수정·보완되었으나, 각기 다른 학교 현장의 여건과 교사의 능력에 따라 실효가 좌우될 수 있으므로 이에 후속 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 이 연구에서 제시한 ‘음악과 생활’에 대한 지도 내용이 현재 고등학교 음악교사의 음악수업에서 적절하게 활용되기를 기대하고 더욱 효과적이고 가치 있는 음악 수업에 대한 음악교사들의 연구가 더욱 활성화되기를 바라는 바이다.;To conduct effective lessons, study conditions, individual variations·needs, inducing motivation strategies, study mediums, organization of lesson units, teaching methods and etcetera must be considered. The 7th curriculum in particular, emphasizes the build-up of self-initiative abilities to adapt to globalization·informatization. The application of learner-based education appropriate to the abilities, aptitude and future course of students is also stressed. In the music curriculum, the application of learner-based education is reflected in a selective curriculum 'Music and Life' for 11th and 12th graders. The purpose of this study is to design teaching strategies focused on the activity which considers motivations of the student for effective lessons in the selective curriculum 'Music and Life' in the high school. The necessity of the study has been clarified by analysing earlier theses on the creation of energetic instruction plans and models to induce the interest of students in music class. By doing so, the lack of diverse teaching strategic models in the music field has been pointed out. Moreover, interest-inducive methods applicable to school lessons are vaguely presented and its concentration on elementary·middle school students call for a study focused on senior high school students, as the writer says. Therefore, at home and aborad technical books on study-motivations, developmental attributes of senior high school students' emotions and the pivotal 'activitiy-centered music education' of the selective curriculum, 'Music and Life', have been viewed. Furthermore, the educational objectives, content organization and teaching strategies are analyzed laying stress on the curriculum. Based on these, a concrete inducing motivation method for a practical activity-based teaching strategy is presented, along with respective strategies for different domains. These are amended and complemented to be made for use in school lessons. The concerned fields follow a teaching-learning stage, a procession of a lesson course and a teaching-learning activity. Lastly, 'Sarangga' of Korean story singing, 'Cheunhyangga', which is commonly included in 'Music and Life' textbooks, is selected to exemplify 3 parts of strategic plans. Although the plans have been amended and complemented for use in real school lessons, further studies are required to guarantee the efficacy that may vary according to capabilities of teachers and distinct school conditions. The instructions for 'Music and Life' presented in this study are expected to be of appropriate use by music teachers in present senior high schools. Also, the full activation of studies for efficient and worthy music lessons by music teachers are anticipated.
