진로상담을 위한 성격적성검사 웹 시스템 설계 및 구현

Abstract

이번 연구는 현재 실시되고 있는 지필방식의 성격적성검사를 웹 기반으로 구현함으로써 학교현장의 교사와 학생들 그리고 학부모의 진로 지도 및 진학 상담시 의사결정에 도움을 주고, 그 과정에서 나오는 모든 정보들과 각종 결과 프로파일들을 데이터베이스화하여 학교 현장에서 효과적으로 활용할 수 있도록 시스템을 구현하였다. 웹 기반 시스템으로, 학생, 교사들이 빠르고 손쉽게 정보를 제공받을 수 있고, 시간과 공간의 제약 없이 서로 간에 의사소통을 할 수 있는 공간이 될 수 있도록 구현하였다. 이번 연구에서 개발한 시스템은 크게 방문자용, 관리자용, 학생용으로 구성된다. 시스템을 구성하는 각각의 모듈들의 역할을 간략히 정리하면 다음과 같다. 방문자용은 기본적인 진로상담의 이론을 제시하고, 대학 진학시 필요한 학과정보를 제공한다. 이는 로그인 하지 않아도 되기 때문에 어느 누구나 볼 수 있는 정보이다. 관리자용은 시스템에 등록된 학급 학생들의 성격적성검사 결과와 기타 개인 정보를 관리하는 용도로 사용된다. 학생용은 실질적으로 적성검사를 하고, 검사 결과를 확인하여 자신의 성격을 파악한다. 이번 연구에서 설계하고 구현한 성격적성검사 시스템이 성공적으로 적용된다면 기대할 수 있는 교육효과로는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성격적성검사를 통해 학생들이 진로 선택 시 자신의 적성과 소질을 모르기 때문에 어려움을 느꼈던 점을 어느 정도 해소시켜 진로문제에 대한 관심을 갖게 하였다. 둘째, 웹 기반이므로 언제 어디서든 편리하게 다양한 정보와 자료를 제공받을 수 있을 것이다. 셋째, 교사에게는 학생지도에 대한 업무 부담을 최소화시켜 교육의 효율성을 높여줄 수 있을 것이라 기대된다. 넷째, 검사 결과는 데이터베이스에 저장함으로써 학생 개개인이 언제든지 자신의 성격 및 적성을 확인할 수 있다. 다섯째, 기존 웹 기반 성격적성검사 시스템은 검사문항이 텍스트로만 이루어져 있어 검사를 시행하는 동안 학생들로 하여금 지루함을 유발시키고, 글을 제대로 이해하지 못한 학생은 엉뚱한 답을 선택할 수도 있다. 이런 문제점을 보완하기 위해 검사문항에 텍스트만이 아닌 그림을 추가하여 학생들이 검사문항을 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 한다. 여섯째, 현재 나와있는 성격적성검사의 검사문항은 애매모호한 표현을 많이 사용하고, 문항 자체가 길게 설명되어 있다. 이는 학생들이 금방 지루함을 느끼고, 빠른 시간 안에 눈에 들어오지 않는 문제점이 있다고 생각하여 문장을 간결체로 바꾸어서 검사문항을 구성하였다. 이로 인해 검사문항을 빨리 파악하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.;The purpose of this thesis is to upgrade the existing paper-based career counseling system which is now used in high school. There are a lot of difficulty to apply the basic web counseling for higher education. So we propose a new system to help teachers guide the future university or academic work selection. Also students and parents may use our system. And another purpose of this thesis is to put all information and result profiles together in unified database, and to design and make a useful system. We offers a web based remote character-aptitude testing system with high speed internet network, which enables both parties to participate effectively in aptitude testing without any limitation on time and location. The system consists of the guest module, the teacher module, and the students module. Each module has the following role. Firstly, the guest module consists of the basic information about career counseling and the information about various university. The teacher module manages the character-aptitude testing result of all of the student member and other personal profile information. The student module is practical run-time module for the aptitude test and confirm student's result. From our experimental review, the system may be effective and productive to enhance the career counseling system web based system. Following are the main advantages of our work. First, when the student has the chance to find their career through the on- line, student can directly solve the existing difficult problems which are caused by not knowing their own aptitude and talent. So students can access system easily anytime anywhere. Second, the system use web technology. So the system will provide more useful and various information to the students and teachers. Third, experimental results of this system shows that teacher's workload for the vocational guide would be minimized. Fourth, the result about students' character and aptitude can be verified by storing the result to a database. Fifth, our system use graphical interface to show every testing statements. It reduces students boring and confusing. So we need to insert graphic icons in order to understand given statements. Lastly, we use good statements to avoid ambiguous expressions in the character aptitude tests. Generally, questions are too long to read at a glance. Such a test makes student feel bored and prevents students from good understanding. Therefore, we propose a simpler questions in order to maximize speeding students's understanding.
