기분장애 환자를 위한 약물교육 CD-ROM 개발

Abstract

뇌의 신경전달물질 불균형으로 야기되는 기분장애는 약물치료를 통해 신경전달물질 불균형이 교정되어 증상이 완화될 뿐만 아니라 유지요법을 통해 재발, 재입원율이 감소된다. 그러나 대다수의 환자들은 약물에 대한 잘못된 이해 및 부작용 등으로 약물을 복용하지 않고 재발과 재입원을 반복하게 된다. 또한 현재 정신질환자를 위한 교육은 주로 정신분열증 환자의 질병 교육과 약물 교육에 초점이 맞추어져 있고 기분장애 환자를 위한 교육은 그에 일부 가미 되어 있는 실정이다. 이에 기분장애 환자를 위한 약물 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 멀티미디어 형태인 CD-ROM으로 개발하여 효과적인 교육을 실시하기 위해 본 연구가 시도 되었다. 프로그램은 기존의 프로그램 내용을 분석하고 문헌 고찰을 통하여 나온 내용을 전문가의 자문을 통해 개발되었다. 프로그램 내용은 교육의 목표, 약물치료 효과, 약물의 종류, 부작용 및 극복방법, 약과 술․담배․커피․음식과의 관계, 일반적인 약물 복용 방법, 약물에 대한 잘못된 인식, 평가용 질문지로 구성되었다. 교육의 효과를 높이기 위해 교육내용을 Microsoft PowerPoint 2003으로 정리하여 음성녹음과 약물에 대한 사진을 넣어 59장으로 구성하였으며 23분 동안 자동 실행되어 컴퓨터 모니터를 이용해 자가 학습 할 수 있는 CD-ROM 형태로 개발하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 교육프로그램은 기분장애환자를 위한 약물 교육이 부족하고 체계적이지 못했던 내용을 체계화시켰으며 정보화 시대에 맞추어 멀티미디어 자료로 제작함으로써 대상자 스스로 학습할 수 있게 하였다. 또한 교육 시간과 비용이 절감되는 유용한 교육 자료가 되어 약물 교육을 통해 투약의 순응도를 증진시켜 질병의 재발, 재입원을 감소시키는 중요한 정신간호 중재 방법으로 활용 될 수 있으리라 기대된다.;Mood disorder is caused by an imbalance of brain chemicals, called neurotransmitters. Its symptom is mitigated as the imbalance of neurotransmitters is corrected by medication treatment and the relapse or the rate of re-hospitalization is as well reduced by maintenance treatment. Most of the patients, however, don’t take medication because they have a wrong understanding of medication or went through side effects: they repeatedly experience the relapse or re-hospitalization. In addition, current educational programs on mental disorders are focused on the disease and medication education of a schizophrenic; education program for mood disorder is assorted as a part of it. In this regard, the study aims to develop a medication education program for mood disorders and to make it a multimedia CD-ROM to conduct an effective teaching. The program is constructed after the existing programs are analyzed and the contents from literature research are advised by specialists. The contents of the program are composed of several categories: the objective of the education, medication treatment effect, kinds of medication, side effects and the methods to overcome them, the relationship between medication and liquor, cigarette, coffee, and food, general methods to take medication, wrong understanding of medication, and evaluation questionnaire. To improve the education effects, the contents are documented in Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 and established of total 59 chapters with voice recording and pictures concerning medication. It is developed to automatically start and patients can self-study looking at computer monitors. The education program in this study systemizes education information that has not been classified clearly and insufficient for mood disorders, and is produced in a form of CD-ROM for patients to self-study. It is also expected to be used as an important psychiatric nursing intervention to reduce the relapse or re-hospitalization by improving the conformity of patients’ taking medication.
