웹 환경에서의 인터페이스 디자인을 위한 웹 유저빌리티 평가방법에 관한 연구

Abstract

As a website is more spread into commercial area, the concept and study of web usability” is getting more attention to make faithful user satisfaction and enterprise productivity. However, many web surfers still have to undergo unnecessary trial because of improperly designed web structure and user interface. This thesis is to study on web usability testing methods which the importance is emphasized with interests in web usability. For which design is a solution of communication problem between web users and web information among the various factors related to web usability, there is necessity of study about usability testing method that design will be evaluated rationally. At this time, because there is necessary of criterion for evaluation of design, the theory of interface design is made the principles to evaluate web design. Therefore, the evaluation factors web design is developed from which there is selected the principles related to web interface design among the principles of interface design and is selected the elements of web interface design. Of this thesis, it is possible to evaluate web site more rationally centering usability testing methods and usability evaluation factors considering all principles of interface design.;웹 환경은 우리에게 더 이상 생소하지 않다. 많은 경험이 쌓이면서 우리는 자신도 모르는 사이에 웹 환경에 익숙해져 가고 있고 그러는 동안 어떤 웹사이트는 사용하기가 쉽고 어떤 경우는 왠지 모르게 불편하다는 느낌을 갖는다. 쉽고 편한 사이트는 다시 찾게 되지만, 그저 마우스만 한 차례 클릭하면 얼마든지 많은 다른 사이트로 옮겨갈 수 있는 특성 때문에 사이트 사용이 불편하면 바로 타 사이트로 이동하게 된다. 웹 사이트의 발달에 따라 웹을 이용하는 사용자의 만족도와 기업의 생산성을 높이기 위해 유저빌리티(사용성)에 관한 연구가 그 중요성을 더해 가고 있다. 웹 사이트의 방문객들은 웹 사이트의 비구조적인 설계와 사용자의 편의성을 고려하지 않은 인터페이스로 인해 불편을 느끼는 경우가 적지 않게 있다. 본 논문은 웹 유저빌리티의 관심과 더불어 그 중요성이 강조되고 있는 웹 사용성 평가방법에 관해 연구한 것이다. 웹 유저빌리티와 관련된 여러 요소들 가운데 웹 사용성에 중요한 영향을미치는 인터페이스 디자인을 보다 합리적으로 평가할 수 있는 유저빌리티 평가 방법을 모색하고자 하였으며, 사용자와 컴퓨터 사이의 상호 정보 교환의 문제점을 밝혀내고 이를 체계화시켜서 사용자가 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 환경을 만들어주는 인터페이스 디자인 이론을 웹사이트 디자인 평가의 주요 기준으로 삼았다. 따라서 문헌조사를 통한 인터페이스 디자인 이론 중 웹사이트의 인터페이스 디자인에 적용 가능한 이론들을 선정하고 웹 인터페이스 디자인을 이루는 디자인 요소들을 파악하여 웹에서의 디자인 평가내용을 체계화하였다. 이를 기준으로 최근까지 웹사이트 평가에 이용되고 있는 유저빌리티 평가요인을 효율적으로 평가할 수 있는 평가기법에 대해 고찰하였다. 따라서 일련의 인터페이스 디자인 원리를 고려한 유저빌리티 평가내용을 중심으로 각각의 사용성 요인의 특성에 맞는 유저빌리티 평가기법을 선정함으로써 보다 합리적으로 웹사이트를 평가할 수 있을 것이다.
