추상표현을 통한 ‘세월’ 이미지의 시각화 연구

Abstract

세월은 흘러가는 시간이다. 어느 누구도 붙잡을 수 도 없고, 보이지도 않지만 우리의 삶은 세월의 흐름과 함께 변하여간다. 그것은 세월의 표상이며 흘러가는 시간의 잠재력이다. 우리는 살아가면서 수 없이 많은 경험을 하게 된다. 이 경험은 오래도록 기억에 남아서 과거의 추억으로 상기되어 자연스럽게 내면세계를 불러일으켜, 세월의 이미지로 남게 된다. 본 논고에서는 이처럼 세월의 이미지를 어떻게 표현함으로서 시각화 될 수 있는가를 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 ‘세월’에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통해서 시간의 흐름과 오래된 기억의 의미를 정리하고, 세월을 이미지화시키기 위해 연구자의 주관적 느낌과 기억들을 과감한 형태의 파괴와 이미지의 추상적 해석을 통해 세월의 이미지를 더욱 강조 하였으며 이들의 이미지를 시각화하기위해 미술사에 나타난 추상미술과 추상표현주의의비정형성과 우연성에 근거를 두고 타시즘의 표현기법에 관련한 이론적 분석 및 작품을 분석함으로써 추상 미술에 내재한 추상표현의 요소들을 살펴보았으며 위의 이론들을 바탕으로 하여 세월의 이미지를 작품으로 시각화 시켰다. 작품의 전개를 위해 제작의도를 밝히고 재료와 기법, 텍스쳐, 색채 등의 디자인요소를 통해서 우리의 감정과 의식을 추상화 하는 제작과정을 설명하였으며, 본 연구자는 세월의 이미지를 '살짝 빛바랜 내면의 아름다움'의 표현이라고 세월의 개념을 정의 하고 이러한 개념을 폭넓고 자유로운 추상표현을 통해 효과적으로 가시화 할 수 있게 하며, 작품 활동 이라는 조형 활동의 창조에 흥미를 느끼며 작품의 표현세계를 더욱더 확대 시켜 나갈 수 있다고 생각한다.;Time is flowing. Nobody can grasp it, and nobody can see it. But our life changes as time flows. Flowing time represents our life, and at the same time, is our potential. While we live our life, we experience various things. Because we memorize them for long, we remember them for long enough to internalize them inside, and after all, they will remain our images of time. This study aims to review how such images of time will be expressed to be visualized. More specifically, this study aims to review 'time' theoretically, and thereby, define the old memories and imagine the time. To this end, the researcher attempted to interpret her subjective feelings and memories in a bold and abstract way in an effort to emphasize the image of time. Furthermore, the researcher tried to analyze the Tashisme expressions and their works based on abstractness, its untyplology and causalism, in an effort to visualize the images of time. Furthermore, the researcher explained about the ways to abstract our emotions and consciousness in terms of such design elements as materials, techniques, textures and colors, and redefined the concept of time as 'an inside beauty slightly faded out'. It may well be concluded that such a concept may well be visualized through free abstractions, and that the artists may be interested in formative activities enough to expand their world of expressions more and more.
