In this thesis, the teaching-learning theory is surveyed and the connection which is emphasized gradually in a new curriculum, centering the field of algebra, is analyzed and examined for analyzing the curriculum and teaching contents in senior arithmetic of elementary school and middle school math.
Our fourth revision notified in 1981 laid emphasis on humanistic aspect which does not try to go to far in student's growth step, connecting the daily lives with mathematical knowledge and skill, on the basis of application to lives.
Especially, the mathematical characteristics have more obvious relation to the grade of ranks than any other subjects and take a serious view of learning order. Therefore, the research of teaching-learning theory is very meaningful according to the studies of the connection in grades of each school and the connection between upper conception and lower conception in the curriculum content's constitution of math and arithmetic.
For this study, the changes of the teaching-learning theory and of the teaching contents, and not only the characteristics of curriculum and systems in arithmetic and mathematics but also the systems of textbooks were compared and analyzed according to the development of the overall theories in math education.
And, specifically by analyzing not only the teaching object and contents of an equation and an inequality, and of "a number and operation" which belongs to the region of algebra, but the systems and noticement of teaching, the current middle and high school textbooks were compared and analyzed.
From the analysis, the fact that the discovering study, which makes much of the courses more than the consequences and induces the student to find for himself, is proper in math education and that the contents are well organized suited for each logical order in the system itself, and that it is the most important for the teacher to understand and apply it to the curriculum of teaching were found.; |8@ mYP YD @ YP YX x P! ĳ D t P Yյt`D 0̈ D <\ ( P! p ǔ Ĭ1D X.
